Sea Kayak Eco Adventures

Bungalow Bay Koala Village

The Koala Village offers three guided tours daily around the sanctuary and also a champagne bush tucker brunch every Wed, Fri and Sunday. Try cuddling a koala or a croc!

Scuba Diving

Yongala Wreck is Australia’s top wreck divesite. The wreck is 27 metres deep and to take the dive you need an open water certificate and have a minimum of 6 dives logged.  Adrenalin Dive also offer day trips to the pristine Wheeler Reef.

JetSki Hire

Jet Ski Hire is fast and fun way get the know Magnetic Island.  Meet you at Horseshoe Bay. Give yourself a self-guided tour.

Seaplane Tours

The Red Baron Seaplanes offers joyrides from Horseshoe Bay. This famous plane has featured in the movie The Phantom and now flies around the island. This really is the best way to see the whole island.

Walking

Magnetic Island has 36 km network of walking tracks.  See the wildlife in its natural environment and enjoy spectacular views.  Try the Fort Walk.  It takes you along a ridge behind the bays to The Forts. This 2 km walk takes you back in time to World War II, where a series of concrete gun emplacements and observation posts were built to protect Townsville in the event of a Japanese invasion.
